Prison guard accused in meth bust

PLAINFIELD, Ind. – A state corrections officer accused of manufacturing methamphetamine in his garage was arrested by Indiana State Police this afternoon.

Reception-Diagnostic Center employee Roy Dicus is charged with a Class A felony count of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Class C felony Possession of Methamphetamine while in Possession of a Firearm and a class D felony count of Maintaining a Common Nuisance

According to a news release from the Indiana Department of Correction, police also found other drugs in his home.

Dicus has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the charges.
