Jail employees fired following internal investigation

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho. – An undisclosed number of Kootenai County Jail Bureau personnel have been either fired or received disciplinary action after a criminal investigation following a report of missing inmate medication.

The investigation began after the county Sheriff’s Office learned of allegations of missing inmate medication.

Along with the Sheriff’s Internal Investigation, the Idaho State Police were asked to conduct a criminal investigation.

“Policies and procedures only work when those involved exercise common sense and ethical behavior,” said Sheriff Rocky Watson, “A lack of integrity and a lack of following the ideals as set forth in the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics will not be tolerated in our Department.

  1. In a nation wherein “In GOD We Trust” has become a mere creed on the money upon which it is printed, corruption and wickedness exist on both sides of the badge and the bars. Yet, are they bad men just because they made some bad choices? Do not all of us have A’s and F’s on our moral report cards? As I so stated on my blog, http://www.victoryNchrist.net we can’t fix it IF we can’t face it. I dare anyone who wants to fix their F’s to read that textbook in sex education and then to trust in GOD…and that’s my final answer!
